Apple’s iPhone replacement may have negative impact

Apple promises to replace the battery of out of warranty iPhones by $50. That is from $78 to $29. After telling iPhone users that its slow down battery performance of old iPhones to prevent prevent the phone from shutting down.

Reuters, reporting Barclays’ analyst Mark Moskowitz said 77 percent of iPhone users are using iPhone 6-series, SE and iPhone 7-series. This implies that even if small amount of these users request for battery replacement will have significant impact on the company.
