Ecobank is set for its 2018 Fintech Challenge. The program begins last year, 2017 and Kudi (first runner up), Paylater (second runner up) and ZirooPay (winner) was the top three winners for the competition. This year, Ecobank will be giving ten selected startups to pitch at Lome, Benin in the presence of Decision makers.
For this year challenge the three winners will go home with 10,000 dollars, 7,000 dollars and 5,000 dollars respectively. The ten startups will join Ecobank Fintech fellow. The fellowship will gives the ten startups the opportunity to partner with Ecobank’s.

- Digital Onboarding/ Account opening/ KYC
- Remittances
- Digital sales and marketing
- Offline Mobile to Mobile Payments (Dead zones)
- Multi Channel cooperatives Payments/ Collection Ecosystem and
- SMEs Intra-Africa trade platform.
Ecobank is organising this challenge to give Fintech entrepreneurs the chance to promotes their Fintech solutions and to partner with Ecobank, I’d possible in rolling out their solutions in Ecobank’s 33 markets in Africa.
