The SDG Pitch And Grill is a competition organised by Civic Innovation Lab. The Application deadline is fixed at 11th September, 2017. The Demo day is 15th September, 2017 at the Civic Innovation Lab – 50 Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja.

Entrepreneurs will be giving opportunity to pitch their products will the judges will drill and choose the winners. All three winners will be provided with office Space, mentorships and access to Civic Innovation Lab networks and partnerships.The first runner up, in addition to the above, will be giving $1,000.

The aim of the competition, quoting Civic Innovation Lab, is to promote entrepreneurs with innovative technology-enabled solutions which improve the lives of citizens in Nigeria. This program aims to find innovative business ideas with global scalability and high social impact to realize sustainable development goals.

To apply, you and your team must be a early stage venture with groundbreaking solutions to social and civic problems. Also, the applicant should possess one or more of the following qualities.

Entrepreneurs/ventures whose business model is built around providing solutions to social, cultural or environmental problems.

Innovative and scalable businesses whose solution utilises a digital or technological element.

A business with a sustainable model. We believe that in order to make a true long-term impact, a viable plan for revenue streams must be created.

A team with relevant experience and complementary skills as well as a high degree of commitment. We believe that the capacity and commitment of the team is most essential to achieve the vision.

 The Civic Accelerator Program is designed for early-stage start-ups and features resources, experts, workshops and programs that are geared towards growing and scaling faster.
