China invest $46 billion on CPEC (China and Pakistan Economic Corridor) project. The project is estimated to cost $11 billion.
The aim of the China-Pakistan ties is to construct a road and a railway line from Gwadar Port in Pakistan to Xinjiang, China.
Earlier, a sum of $52 billion has been invested in the construction of the road. The distance of the road is 1,517 miles.
Pakistan believes that the ties will strengthened China-Pakistan relationship and provide employment to both people of Pakistan and China.
On the otherhand, China believes that the road network will be used to transport silks to both Pakistan and Africa. Thereby, makes trade easier for China.
According to dunyanews.tv, on Friday, November 11, 2016 seventy-five containers reaches Gwador port from China.
Also, out of the $46 billion invested by China, $4.5 billion of it is for road construction and two third for energy project.
