Civic Innovation Lab organises SIC for undergraduates students. An opportunity to win 1 million in seed funding

Civic Innovation Lab, is organising Students Innovation Challenge, SIC, for all undergraduates students in Nigeria. This is an opportunity for graduates who have business ideas to get seed fund. A total fund of 30 million naira is available for grabs for the students.

If you think you have the idea that can solve social problems in Nigeria, then this is your chance. The SIC program is for 100 undergraduates students. To apply for it click here.

The SIC program is organised in partnership with Nigeria government, Bank of Industry and Civil Foundation for Innovation. A bootcamp will be organised for this students from 13th to 17th of May this year. 30 finalists students will received 1 million naira each in seed funding to start their business ideas.

This 30 startups will pitch there products on the 18th of May which is the Demo day in Abuja where the President, vice President and many investors will be present. The 30 finalists of SIC program will be given three minutes each to pitch there ideas while 5 minutes will be used to ask questions. There will also be an exhibition where the finalist can discussed their ideas with investors and donors.

Updated 7th April: It was previously writing by me that Co-Creator Hub organizes SIC. But it has been adjusted to reflect how it should be. Civic Innovation Lab is the Hub responsible for student innovation lab.
