The largest social network in the world, Facebook has include two features to it’s social media website for the benefit of users. Memory recap and celebrating friendships.
We’ve learned that there are many different types of memories and moments that people enjoy revisiting and celebrating, which is why we are excited to share that we’ve added two new ways for people to relive meaningful memories and celebrate special moments on Facebook.
Says Facebook Product Manager, Oren Hood.
Facebook has been testing these features with some set of Facebook users and now the tech giant is making it available to every Facebook users. On your newsfeed, there will be a memory recap or friendship anniversary as the first post you will see. Which you can decide to share or not to share.
There is also, “On This Day” and “Memory Preference”. Oren Hod says that Facebook filter the memory you see, so that only past memory that sparks positive feelings are seen on your newsfeed.
Earlier this month, Facebook has include a video platform called “watch.” This new feature is still in it’s beta and will be made available to all video creators soon.
