This is no longer use. Lokesh Verma, Walnut, cashnocash.com and CMS Infosystems has created a crowdsource platform to help Indians find working ATM.
As a result of the demonitization drive by thee country government, the 1 billion population of India’s have been left hungry, looking for cash. The country remove two of its currency notes, 500 rupee and 1000 rupee. Furthermore, people have until 30 of December, to exchange their demonetized notes. Persons who are unable to exchange their cash has still March 31st to declare with the Reserve Bank. This has result to long queue of persons both in banks and in ATM.
The reason for the demonitization is to help fight corruption in the country.
Lokesh Verma launch a website called atmsearch.in which gives updates on ATMs in a city with a quick search. Walnut, a personal finance apps also create similar feature on their app to help users track working ATMs close to the user locality.
Also, an e-commerce platform developed by NASSCOM, cashnocash.com can be use to find out location and tells the status of ATM nearby. In addition, CMS Infosystem has developed a crowdsource tech to help indian’s locate any of the 55,000 ATMs the company handles that has cash on it.
