Tecno W5 review, price and its fittess mode camera

Introduction

The Tecno W5 smartphone was released in 2017. The beauty of the device is in the smooth grip. A hold of it in your palm give you a feel that is next to none. The Tecno W5 is the first in all of the W series to come with a fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint serves dual purposes. For security and to capture with the camera.

One interesting feature of the device is the fittess mode. Here, the camera detects your smiles and allows you to retouch the images instantly. You can retouch almost anything on the captured photo. You can retouch the skin tone, face shape, nose, jaw, eyes to teeth. Furthermore, the battery is capable of used for more than a day.

The price of the Tecno W5 is between N39,000 to N50,000 range. You can buy it in slot, Jumia or Konga online stores. You can also buy it in a shop near you.

Design

The phone weigh is 153.5 gram and the dimension is 152.3mm × 76.5mm × 7.8mm. The screen size is 5.5 inches. It comes in black, white and gold colours. HD 1280 × 720 pixel with IPS Touchscreen. The body is crafted with super metal. The sides of the smartphone is laser-carved with beautiful texture. The frame is finished with a 170° curve so as to interface with a textured back cover. These give you a smooth grip in your palm.

The chipset is Mediatek MT6580M. It’s CPU is 1.3GHz Octacore. The GPU information isn’t available.
