Qualcomm a popular and most used system-on-chip producer have been selected by Original Equipments and Machines companies to used its chipset for Moderns, the Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G NR for their mobile device launch in 2019.
Qualcomm made this known in a press released recently. The OEMs includes, Asus, HMD Global, HTC, Inseego/Novatel Wireless, LG, NetComm Wireless, OPPO, Sierra Wireless, Fujitsu Limited, Fujitsu Connected Technologies Limited, NETGEAR, Sharp Corporation, Sony mobile, Telit, Vivo, Wingtech, WNC, Xiaomi and ZTE.
5G will be used to enhanced broadband connectivity on smartphone, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Extended Reality, and Mobile Broadband.
