If you are a Nigerian, you probably be planning how you will get your child back to school as schools will resume very soon. You must have brought some things to get them back to school. Probably you have brought a new pair of shoes, a new school uniform, notebooks, pencils and biros, saved the money to pay up their school fees and so on.
Or you may have done little or non of the aformention or planning to do so. Below are some tips that will guide you in getting your kids ready for school.
PLANING
Planing will give you a good start. It will enable you know where to start and good organization of all you need to get your kids back to school.
BUDGETING
While planning, you make a budget of the items you will buy for your kids. This will include: food and water containers, school bags (if the old one is worn out), school uniform, school shoes, school fees, transport fees for the term, writing materials and ofcourse textbooks.
SHOPPING
After making a list of the items you need to buy, now is the time for shopping. Remember, one thing is to budget and the other is to carry out the budget. Buy all necessary items you need to take your child back to school.
VISIT THE SCHOOL
Most schools usually open one week resumption. Visit the school to find out the new scheme of work, textbooks to buy, the environment of the school (if it has improve or if there is a need to take your child to a better school) and to inquire from the school head about any changes in the school fees and vabout the warefare of the teachers.
MAKE CHANGES
After the visit to the school, if necessary, you may decide either to continue patronising the school or switch to another school.
NOW YOU ARE SET
Planning early has giving you the opportunity to get the items needed to get your kids back to school. Now, you are good to go! This is the first day of school and your child is ready to resume classes and you never faced the stress as to how to get the items ready for them to go to school.
