The Nigerian Stock Exchange (the Exchange) closed last week friday with three unaudited financial results and two audited financial results. Capital oil Plc released it’s financial statement for the period ending 31st March, June 30, September 30 and the year ending 31th December, 2015. The first three reports where unaudited while the fourth was audited.

Also, Conoil Plc released it audited report for the periods ending 31st December, 2015.

Cultix Plc annual general meeting is scheduled to hold on 21st October, 2016. It issued a proposed dividend of 14 kobo per share to be paid 14th of November, 2016.

The Exchange traded 1.183 billion shares worth N10.3 billion in 16,522 deals where traded this week.

The Financial Service Sector led the activitt chat with 1.015 billion shares valued at N7.136 billion traded in 11,012 deals, thus contributing 85.83% and 69.28% to the total equity turnover and value respectively.

The Conglomerates Sector and Service Sector occupied the second and third positions respectively.

May & Baker Nigeria Plc, Conoil Plc and Cutix Plc top the Gainers table while Wema bank Plc, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc and Unity Bank Plc top the losers table.
